What’s the difference between your liquid soap and foaming soap?

Both start from the same plant-based soap base, but foaming soap is diluted to a lower concentration and dispensed through a foaming pump that aerates it into a light, ready-to-use lather. Liquid soap is more concentrated and produces its lather through hand rubbing or a standard pump. Foaming soap tends to use less product per wash, making it economical for high-traffic sinks.

What ingredients are in your liquid and foaming soaps?

Our liquid and foaming soaps are built on a plant-derived soap base using ingredients like coconut oil and other vegetable oils, water, and glycerin. They’re scented with pure essential oils or naturally derived fragrances and colored, where applicable, with natural mineral colorants. You won’t find sulfates, synthetic detergents, parabens, or artificial dyes.

Are your liquid soaps antibacterial?

Our soaps don’t contain synthetic antibacterial agents like triclosan, which has been flagged by the FDA for safety concerns. That said, all soap works by mechanically lifting and washing away bacteria from the skin when used with adequate hand washing technique. Proper lathering and rinsing is what makes hand washing effective.

Are your liquid soaps safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our plant-based formulas are free from the harsh sulfates and synthetic detergents that commonly irritate sensitive skin. For those with particularly reactive skin, we recommend choosing one of our unscented options to eliminate any potential response to fragrance.

Can I refill my existing dispenser with your liquid soap?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our liquid soaps work great as refills for any standard pump dispenser. For foaming soap, make sure your dispenser has a foaming pump head rather than a standard one, as the foaming action comes from the pump mechanism itself. Reusing dispensers is a simple way to reduce plastic waste.

How do your liquid soaps compare to bar soap?

Both deliver effective, plant-based cleansing but in different formats. Liquid and foaming soaps are convenient for shared sinks and high-use areas. Bar soaps are more concentrated, longer-lasting per dollar, and generate no plastic packaging waste. Many of our customers use both — it really comes down to personal preference and where in your home you’re using it.
