Collection: Lip Care

Frequently Asked Questions

What lip care products do you offer?

Our lip care collection includes natural lip balms, tinted lip balms, lip scrubs, and lip treatments — all formulated with plant-based waxes, nourishing butters, and skin-safe colorants. Whether you’re looking for everyday moisture, a hint of color, or an exfoliating treatment to smooth dry lips, we have options to keep your lips soft and hydrated year-round.

What ingredients are in your lip balms?

Our lip balms are made with plant-based waxes like beeswax or candelilla wax, nourishing oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, and castor oil, and skin-softening butters like shea and cocoa butter. Any flavor comes from food-safe, naturally derived flavoring or essential oils. We don’t use petroleum jelly, synthetic fragrances, artificial dyes, or parabens.

Do your lip balms contain SPF?

Our standard lip balms do not contain SPF. If sun protection for your lips is a priority — particularly during outdoor activities or extended sun exposure — we recommend layering a lip balm with a separate SPF lip product. Lips are often overlooked in sun protection routines but are just as susceptible to UV damage as the rest of your skin.

Are your lip products vegan?

It depends on the formula. Lip balms made with beeswax are not vegan, as beeswax is an animal-derived ingredient. Those made with candelilla wax — a plant-derived alternative — are fully vegan. Each product page clearly notes whether the formula is vegan so you can choose with confidence.

How do I use a lip scrub?

Apply a small amount of lip scrub to dry or slightly damp lips and use your fingertip to gently massage in circular motions for about 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse or gently wipe away the scrub, then follow immediately with a lip balm or treatment while lips are still soft from exfoliation. Using a lip scrub once or twice a week is plenty.

Why do my lips keep getting chapped even when I use lip balm?

Chronically chapped lips are often a sign that something in your lip balm routine is working against you. Many conventional lip balms contain ingredients like camphor, menthol, or phenol that create a temporary sensation but actually dry out the lips over time, creating a cycle of dependence. Switching to a balm made with genuinely nourishing ingredients — plant butters, oils, and natural waxes — and applying it consistently, especially before bed, breaks that cycle.
